Model resolution

“We call upon (insert name of organisation HERE) to support the Deaths in Custody Watch Committee (WA) Inc’s Ward Campaign for Justice. In particular we recognise that it has been over two years since Mr Ward’s death and the State Government of Western Australia must now stop delaying and implement the following demands;

ü  immediate compensation to Mr Ward’s family and community;

ü  immediate termination of the G4S contract;

ü  charges laid against those responsible;

ü  immediate implementation of the Coroner’s recommendations and recommendations of the DICWC Ward Campaign submission.

We agree to a donation of $                                   to the Deaths In Custody Watch Committee (WA) Inc’s Ward Campaign in support of their ongoing fight for Justice for the Family and community of Mr Ward.

The Deaths In Custody Watch Committee (WA) Inc is as not for profit community based organisation that receives no government funding and is totally reliant on fundraising and the continued support of the community and the Australian Public through donations to keep going.
